Fort Punta Christo was built at the end of the 19th century by the Austro¬Hungarian Monarchy to defend the city of Pula, its main naval port. Located on a small peninsula at 45 meters above the sea level, Fort Punta Christo offers a breathtaking view of the entrance into the bay of Pula as well as Brijuni National Park.

After hosting Outlook Festival, the largest European festival of bass music and sound system culture, it has become popular around the world as the top festival location and destination. In addition to Outlook, two similar festivals have been held there: Dimensions and Seasplash Festival.
